I am a 27 year old female and have had chronic hives for 8 months. I take Zyrtec to keep them at bay or otherwise would have them all day everyday! I have also been to the hospital 4 times with facial and throat swelling (angiodema (sp?)) that took days to go down. I have been to my Family doc, who reccomended an allergist, who after 6 visits couldn't find anything and reccommended a OBGYN, who IS helping me get pg, but had no clue about the hives. Does anyone have any info. on this? It is getting so unbearable and FRUSTRATING!
