Newly diagnosed "Hodgkin's"...next is PET scan/possible bone marrow test (Cancer: Lymphomas board)

Hi

I would be sceptical about a special cream - good old fashioned baby lotion and your normal face cream should be OK. By the same token, if buying a new cream makes you feel better then go for it!

As for cold sores (herpes) it's not something I've ever suffered from . I should imagine that they would be worse at the moment as your immune system is compromised (mum always has a break out when she's run down). I was advised, once chemo started, to keep a supply of zovirax (over the counter cold sore / herpes cream) just in case.

Every time you sneeze or get a bruise at the minute you're going to panic and think it's related and somehow you're sicker than you are. That is only natural. Sometimes something innocent will tickle your nostrils to make you sneeze. Sometimes you bang your leg when you're in a rush and therefore don't notice it. I know it's hard but try not to read to much into things or you'll just end up giving yourself a headache :dizzy:
Ails xx
