Did any of you take any anti-virals (Valtrex, Zovirax, etc) for suppression therapy during your pregnancies, or did you just try to go without it? When you had an outbreak did you take meds then, or what natural alternatives did you use? My biggest fear is adverse side effects or birth defects to the baby caused by the meds during regular use for suppression of HSV.
