Hello  and welcome to the board....I've used Zovirax creme on my genital area, (outside part - not inside) (HSV-2) and it does relieve some of the stinging, burning feeling. But, I have never gotten any visable sores. My ob's are usuallly a sting/burn/tingling sensation in the lower area. The creme can be expensive and the tube is so small it really doesn't last thru one ob. For relief, in the past I've used hydrogen peroxide (really cheap) and aloe vera green gel, both of which I put in separate spray bottles and blast that lower area. Wear loose clothing and cotton undies. The less friction you have in that area the better. Do you have genital herpes? Hopefully, something here was helpful.
