Had my first chemo after radiation treatment yesterday. The two drugs they are using are Etoposide (VP-16) for 3 days and on the first day I also had Carboplatin. So far I have had no side effects although I have been told by the nurse to take one Zofran Thur morning and evening as well as same on Fri. I also have been given another anti-nausea med that I can take for mild nausea. Of the Chemo drugs I take has anyone had these and had good/bad side effects? I think I'm prepared for what ever and then my nervous prove me wrong. Tomorrow will be my 5 radiation with 5 more weeks to go . Chemo I have every3 weeks for 3 days. I have found out I'm getting a bit more tired each day. Take a few more naps.
