In the hospital they gave her shots or Zofran (what they give to chemo patients). That would wear off then they gave her Benadryl to settle her down. When she came home she continued to have terrible nausea. So the day she got home her dr called in compazine for her. Nothing seemed to help. I guess it just had to work out of her system. Same thing happened when she had a tendon repair surgery when she was nine. I guess the anestesia works that way on her or maybe it was the combination with narcotics. cas
