Call back your GP and get the Valium called in... or you could ask for Klonopin (clonazepam) instead. Either will help for what you are going thru, and for sleep too. Once you say cancer, they usually give you what you need. Don't feel like a woos. Everyone goes through different stuff... you only see dah tah dah "CancerDad!" The superman getting through this... I'm a guy, and like most guys, don't express emotion well. So, don't let me fool you. ;)

Metoclopromide is decent for anti-nasuea... it also promotes gastric motility... things moving through. You may want some Prochlorperazine (compazine) or Odansetron (Zofran) if you get really bad... VERY EXPENSIVE.
As you progress through chemo, metoclopromide might not be that good a choice just for nausea. Just a tip. :)

Hang in there,
CancerDad
