Like the others have said, give the medicine more time and if you don't see any improvement after it is all, I would definitely call the doctor and see if he can put you on another one. What works for one person doesn't work for another. For example, one poster mentioned that Zithromax works for him/her, yet I have no luck with it. Likewise, I bought a Grossan Hydro Pulse machine and continued to have sinus infections. The only thing that I've found that has helped me is using a humidifier in the house. We have hot air heat and it must do something to my sinuses once we turn the furnace on in the fall because from then until April I have had one sinus infection after another for almost ten years. This year is the first year I've tried using a humidifier and it's actually been about a month now since I've been sick, which is a very long time for me! I'm not saying that this is your answer but it has made a difference for me. It was worth the $60. The Hydro Pulse cost me $100 and sits in the closet.
