I did a Zithromax Tri-Pack last Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, I was also on a Dosepak of steroids for inflammation. I thought the infection was clearing up, but this morning I get up and blow and once again, yellow, green and bloody discharge. Should I call my doctor or wait until 10 days have passed on the antibiotic.

Discolored, bloody discharge is also a sign of damaged nasal membranes. Infections cause damage to the nasal membranes.

Antibiotics may kill the germs within the nasal membranes, but won't heal the damaged membranes. After an infection is treated, it is common to continue to see yellow, green and bloody discharges.
