swollen glands... low grade temp.. whooping cough (General Health board)

29th March 2005
I was diagnosed w/whooping cough about a month and a half ago. For a while I was feeling better, but now I feel sick again. I always have a temp of about 99.5 and the glands in my neck and arm pits are swollen. My throat doesn't hurt, but my glands really hurt. I have been feeling very tired lately, and ill. I recently broke up with my boyfriend so I don't know if it is partially due to emotions. I still have the cough due to the whooping cough, but I just find it kind of weird that my glands are so swollen and I have a low grade temp all the time. I have had mono a few times, and I'm really hoping that this is not a relapse. I'm reluctant to go to my dr because I've been there so often lately. I have been on antibiotics for 54 days since the start of the illness. At first they thought it was bronchitis, so they gave me a zpak for that, then I went to the er one night b/c I couldn't breathe, and found out I had an ear infection as well as the bronchitis so my dr gave me augmenton. Then I started coughing till I vomited and so my dr. gave me zithromax so that I wouldn't be contagious. Then when I went back for a recheck, I found out that my ear was still infected. I am wondering if I should go see another doctor to see what they think, or at the very least get some blood work done. When I first got sick, they took blood and my white blood count was lower than normal. I'm just wondering what I should do.. any help would be great.. thanks.
