Guardian,
Do you have a fever? If so, there is a good chance you got a cold, flu, and/or some sort of infection. I got walloped with something last week and someone suggested it was Valium withdrawal, but I seriously doubted it because I typically get the flu or something like it twice a year. I work around a lot of people. I got the Zithromax anti-biotic pack (5 day 6 dose regime) from my doc and all that stuff went away in 36 hours. I suggest a doctor`s visit...
Ringing in the ears is also a common withdrawal symptom from benzos and you dumped Xanax I guess a couple of weeks ago. I have yet to experience that symptom. What got me most during a failed Klonopin C/T was extreme upper back, neck, and head pressure. If you do not have any of that, be glad, though I know the ringing in the ears must be quite annoying... Lift up your heart, real relief may be soon at hand. :) Even if it takes longer than you`d like, you are still a big winner as you dumped the Xanax after a short period of use.
