Hi,
New here and wondering if anyone can help me. For the past 12 years, I've been taking zestril then prinivil and then lisinopril. B/P was always consistent and had no real side effects. A year ago I developed this annoying lump in my throat and a red rash on the front of my throat. I've been seen by 3 of the drs. in the group and an ent. No one seems to know why I have this sensation and no other symptoms. I've been diagnosed menopausal or thyroid but all bloodwork is within normal. My pharmacist suggested it could be edema from the lisinopril as i also get some swelling patches that start and go away within 4 hrs. Has anyone ever heard of this? My dr. has switched me to toprol xl because he says it could be possible. Does anyone know what you can do to make this "lump in the throat" feel better, or how long after stopping the lisinopril, it will go away????? Anyone ever have this????????
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Its driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks
