Does this sound like gallbladder prob? (Open to All Health Related Topics board)

3rd December 2006
I have a moderate pain just below my ribcage on the right side...not the right side of my belly, but literally on the right side. When I take a deep breath I have a stabbing type pain that radiates to the front and back of that area. I had pleurisy several years ago and that is what this pain feels like...just kind of dull until you move just right or take a deep breath. I'm pretty sure that it's not my appendix because it doesn't hurt that low and I don't have the rebound pain common with appendicitis after pressing hard on that area and releasing it. It could be kidney pain but I don't really think so because I've had that before and this is in a different area than the pain I've had with kidney infection and a different type of pain. This has been going on constantly for two days now and yesterday afternoon I started feeling very gassy and bloated. I've even wondered about taking a zelnorm to see if that will push whatever is going on to move on through. Please, if someone knows what this might be answer back asap. Thanks in advance for your help.
