I have not officially been diagnosed with gerd, although my general practitioner has had me on protonix and then zantac. I have been cleared by the cardiologist, but I am terrified there is something wrong with my heart. I have almost constant pain in the center of my chest on either side of my breast bone typically but about 2 weeks ago I got a new symptom, I had drank like one and a half beers and had what felt like a cramp in the center of my chest, which scared the holy crap out of me, but it only happened once and then I felt tense in my chest. It has happened a few more times since, I actually went to my dr and she did an ekg and said my heart was fine, although I have a hard time accepting that like I said I have been to the cardiologist for stress test and echo and he said was fine. Any one else have these same symptoms with the gerd, Please any would make me feel better about it. I have major heart health anxiety. I have an appt at a gastro dr on tuesday but I am having a bad day today. Thanks for reading
