I had my Gall Bladder removed on 10/21/02
It takes several months to recover from this drastic of a surgery procedure.
A word of warning and advice > It is Very Important that you count the amount of Fat content that is in the food that you eat on a daily basis.
Any Fat Content is going to cause you to get nauseated , have diarrhea , vomiting with bile.
I take a Zantac 150 , 2 times daily and that helps.
You must watch your fat content intake , and I know that is hard , but if you do not , then your body builds up bile and Will make you sick.
I guarentee it , I know , as I am going thru the same problems my self.
And then the anxiety attacks hit and I feel like my heart is about to jump out of my mouth , and I feel nervous like a cat on a hot tin roof.
Then I have to take my anxiety medication. 4 mg's of Lorsapam.
I highly suggest you purchase a book that shows the amounts of things that are in all forms of foods.
Best to be gotten thru a dietician.
Things will improve gradually for you.
I still have good days and bad days where I feel pukey sick. But we are now missing our gall bladder and that does bring on changes to our body that must be carefully monitored.
