I just started Yaz or Yasmin, the new birth control pill, and now I'm hearing that one of the side effects is zero sex drive. Well, I'm seeing my fiance for the first time in two months pretty soon so that will be a no-no.

Is there anything I can take, like a supplement, to increase my sex drive or at least counteract the side effect?

I take Yasmin and don't feel this happen to me at all!!! My sex drive only goes away if I'm feeling depressed or exhausted. My pill never affects it and I'm very glad for that. I don't know any pills that definitely work, but I do know that the pill can lower your Vitamin B, so taking a Vitamin B complex (rather than just a multivitamin- the B complex has more in it) can help with mood problems on the pill. I'm not sure if the mood problems can include the sex drive issues.

Other than that, I'm the type to be thinking of seeing my boyfriend throughout the day when I'm not around him and that never fails! Most likely, if you haven't seen him in 2 months, you wouldn't feel that way anyway. Anytime I DO feel that way, I'm always able to get into the mood with a little effort!
