Hello!
I have been on several different types of birth control for various reasons, but I was on Mircette for awhile and really liked it. My periods were short, my cramps were VERY mild, and I didn't notice weight gain or any other negative side effects. I recently switched to Yasmin because my skin needed a little help, and have been happy with that so far, too.
In between Mircette and Yasmin, I went on a generic Mircette (Apri), and found that my periods were a bit worse on that. It was a lot cheaper so I stuck by it, but I would push to get free samples from the dr. for Mircette. Let us know what you think. If Yasmin doesn't work out, I think I'll go back to that.
