Of course, you should first talk to your doctor before stopping any med. For me, my pdoc first decreased my dose of Wellbutrin for a few weeks (at half the original dose) and then I stopped it completely. I didn't have any problems with quitting Wellbutrin; I didn't have any of the withdrawal symptoms I had with Effexor, but again, everyone is different.
