Have you tried Vioxx or Celebrex in place of Soma? I hear it works well. Just a thought in case you haven't tried these.

when I go back to see my newest osteopath, I will ask him for some muscle relaxants. I asked him once, but he said since my other doctor was in charge of my pills, he wouldnt prescribe me anything. I asked him if he used any muscle relaxants and he said there are three he uses. I figure two of them might be Flexiril, and Robaxin. I have tried them both and had negative reactions to them, one gave me violent hiccups and the other projectile vomiting. for some reason my old doc was reluctant to prescribe Vistaril for me but when I take a Vistaril with a lot of drugs that make me sick, I dont get sick. so I'll have to see what my new osteopath is willing to give me after I tell him I am no longer involved with his partner. I'd be willing to give up the soma if something else worked, but my old doc and I tried almost every drug out there, but I havent tried Vioxx or Celebrex. Doesnt Vioxx give some people problems? or am I thinking of ultam or something. I dont know, I'd eat a piece of paper if it worked, hot baths help a lot, but while I'm at work, I need something right then cos I'm a lot of pain at work. oh well I'll try a new doc and see a different osteopath and hopefully they can help. thanks for all your replies.
