Lenin, I've used the Maxide alone for about a year. Before that I used Cardizem with maxide, Toprol, Vasotec, and maybe one or two others. nothing really brought my bp down and all had side effects.

I would like to try Benicar, but in the book "Best Pills Worst Pills" it says you should wait 7 years after a drug is on the market to use it, after most of the deadly side affects are known. It said to wait until 2009 to try Benicar.
