Actually, Valium is also less potent and easier to get off of because ... actually recommends people on other benzos switch to Valium for their taper. It also comes in very small dosages ... greatly.
1mg. Xanax is equivalent to around 20 mgs. Valium so that shows you how much of a difference there is ... . But Valium got a bad rep in the 1960's as mother's little helper...
