Hey Wannabedrugfree right before I quit cold turkey I was drinking 2 ounces of tussionex( that is 10 mg liquid hydrocodone and chlorpheniramine time release) a day.So that is like taking 12 10 mg vikes. Looking back it makes me sick. On days I couldn't get the tussionex I had my regular script from my primary doctor who rxed me 120 7.5 vicoprofens a months. So wen I wasn't taking the tussionex I was taking 8 of the vicoprofens a day. That may not seam like the hugest dose compared to the oc's but mind you I am just five feet tall and 115 pounds, I have always been petite I actually am a dancer, and now that I am sober I would love to teach classes agin, the little kiddies are sooo cute. Anyways I aree with Beginagain maybe tapering is a good idea. You should ask Philster he is a genious with all this and I think he tapered off hydro. I am on day 8 and honestly I feel better then I did when I was using, yes I do have bad parts of the day. That is usually when I reach out here because I am feeling down, trust me though I have more good parts of the day, wait until you see what its like to think so clear and not to ever have to lie. Hang in there and please try to get off the oxys life is far too short and I promise you in the end it will be so worth it. I am here if you need me.
