I had to be put on birth control 4 weeks after my c-section, because I was still bleeding vaginally. They did an ultrasound, and determined that I had SEVEN MORE WEEKS of bleeding left before my "period" would end. I was put on the pill, and it came to a hault just 2 days afterwards.

If you've never been on the pill, I would recommend Yasmin28. Much less estrogen levels than OrthoTriCyclen, or Trivora...It worked well for me.
