I have been on YAZ for a little over a month so far. I was on Triphasil for almost 10 years, went off for a year and developed ovarian cysts. I went off BC since I am married and didn't want to take it everyday anymore and I was experiencing horrible cystic acne towards the end. During the year off, I had nothing but more problems with acne, heavy bleeding, bloating before and during my period to the extend that I looked like I was 3-4 months pregnant. I also had constant cramping on my right side and pain while having sex. I have to say that *so far* YAZ has been good to me.
Most people that experience good from products do not usually go find a place to say anything about it. I have only had few symptoms from this pill but 1- how can i really know that it is from the pill and 2-I have not had any cramps and only minor bloating. How good is that?!? My acne is clearing up too. I did have some ankle swelling during my period, which was only like 2 days as compared to having it for almost 3 weeks a month off the pill. I also had some headaches but they also may be from my allergies since it is that time of year here and I do have other allergy symptoms.
