Greetings from a (likely unduely) worried woman.
I had some "odd" bloodwork results come back a few months ago. My T3 and T4 were low with no corresponding elevation in TSH. I guess my endo is hypothesizing possible pituitary involvement. Friday I had a bazillion labs drawn to assess various hormone levels (including an ACTH stim test).
To what extent might trileptal produce results as above (i.e., low T3, low T4, normal TSH)? I am on a low dose of trileptal, b/c I had a seizure last year.
Any info whatsoever would be DEEPLY appreciated. I don't want to be an alarmist, but I'd like to be a realist. If I'm looking at pituitary tumor, I want to know. It's just so hard to wait for test results.
*sigh*
TIA,
