Hi,
I'm a 31 yr. old male and basically I drink a lot of beer and have for several years now. Right now I have some elevated Triglycerides and I do take Tricor also. I am wondering if too much Alcohol or Triglycerides lead in the direction of Diabetes. I have recently stopped drinking and fasted from Alcohol for about a week. Yesterday I waited an hour and a half after eating to check my blood sugar on a friends meter, it was 136. Is that higher than normal...
Will continued fasting from Alcohol and Excersice help to normalize these levels?
