Posted on RLS board but no response, desperate! (Open to All Health Related Topics board)
Bluetooth, so sorry to hear about the RLS. It runs in families. I'll bet some of your kinfolk may have it. I have had it for about 25 years. My mother and brother had it also. Mine got better after I had a heart attack and stroke....That ain't no good cure for Rls, now is it? I think part of mine getting better is that I now have peripheral neuropathy (PN) in my legs from taking statins and feneofibrates (tricor) for super high cholesterol. I had to stop the statins altogether, but still take tricor for awhile, and then stop for awhile. Enough bout me. Was just relating things that can happen.

I think you may have more than RLS going on, but you definitely have it (first time I have told anyone here this). I don't know your age and what medicines otc, and prescribed you take, but otc meds can worsen RLS. Especially tylenol PM.

The pain and soreness you describe are not associated with RLS, I don't think, and the knee cap deal is probably not associated with any of your current problems. Look at your prescription medications first. Look up associated side affects, or I can do that for you. Next, consider peripheral artery disease (PAD), or other blood circulatory disorders, involving the legs. Are you diabetic? Have you had your fasting blood glucose level checked recently? I would see a doctor soon, and describe these symptoms. Good luck :)
