Would your doc prescribe you an oral antibiotic as well? studies have shown that a topical antibiotic can increase the effectiveness of an oral antibiotic. Don't expect instant results-- it will probably take at least a month to start seeing a difference. As far as cleansers go...I like good ol' Cetaphil. It's very gentle and works well. Has your endo checked your hormone blood levels? That would be a good place to start. Good luck! oohhh-- another thing - are you using any topicals at night? I really really recommend Tretinoin cream (it's generic retin-a). Not only does it fight acne, it improves the health of your skin and can fight wrinkles! Great for adult acne sufferers. But be warned- you may experience an initial breakout, and improvement can sometimes take up to 3 months.
