Ive been using Avita cream (tretinoin) along with clindamycin and tetracycline since friday (monday night now). When I put the avita stuff on, tonight being the fourth time Ive used it, my face turns a little red and burns like theres no tomorrow. The clindamycin stings my face too, but not to the point where I need to wash the stuff off. Before I use the tretinoin, I clean my face like my derm told me to. After that, my face gets really dry. Could that be why? Should I moisturize before I put it on? It doesnt burn my forehead nearly as much as my mouth area and nose which get the most dry. Would moisturizing beforehand reduce the effectiveness of the cream? Could I possibly be allergic to it? Should this be something that goes away with time? Should I just mousturize more often throughout the day? Sorry for all the questions, but this stuff REALLY REALLY hurts when I put it on. :(
