Well...after a VERY miserable yesterday - and equally miserable and frustrating night last night (and morning this morning), I FINALLY found a doc that worked with Suboxone - AND would see me right away. It felt like a miracle because I had already made over 74 (YES 74) phone calles trying to get help from somewhere....someone....ANYWHERE, but to no avail. They were either too boooked, didnt take new patients, or wanted or needed a referral....what a vicious circle ths whole thing is. But now the kicker was, was that they didn't take ANY form of insurance for Sub visits. $150 seemed like a small price to pay to say goodbye to the w/d's though. So a couple family members came to get me - one to take the kids for me, and one to bring me there, and off we went. He ended up prescribing me three 8mg tabs a day....as well as Clonodine, Trazodone, and Seroquil, and sent me on my way to begin this horrible journey into recovery.
So does that soud like the correct dose? And what should I expect? I took the first one right at the pharmacy counter (lol...he actually thought it was a good idea that I did get it into my sysem right away because he said I looked wrse than he has ever seen me look....I've been dealing with the same pharmacistfor yearsssss) - which was about 3:00 And I just took another 1/2 around 9:00.... I actually feel a LITTLE better but what is ahead of me? Has the worst part gone, or a I still not over the fence?
Any input would be greatly appreciated, as I am very scared of having to go through this.
