Just because Melatonin didn't work for you doesn't mean it doesn't work. So, please don't make generalizations like that. It works for many people including myself, but the brand quality one uses does make a difference. My daughter also uses Trazodone to sleep ( she has bipolar disorder), and it also works well, but she's a little groggy in the morning. Many women have problems sleeping at night due to the decrease in hormones in the body. My suggestion is to read up on natural hormone therapy and see if you have any more symptoms of hormone loss. Personally, I think many doctors are clueless when it comes to women and hormones.
