Lisa, thanks for the comments. I think distracting one's self is very helpful for getting over the withdrawals. I found that getting plenty of excercize is very helpful, in addition to just staying busy. I feel like the hydrocodone is out of my body now, as I enter the middle of the third week, and the cravings are gone. I stopped the clonidine and the trazodone early last week, as the dry mouth was difficult, and felt no ill effects. Sweats are gone, sleep is returning (despite the jet lag), and best of all, my back pain is not as bad as I had expected. This week will be the telltale, I suspect. G
