well it does play a little part but its more used for bipolar, I was just putting it up against neurontin but as far as anxiety though A drug that I found to be very good is Remeron. I was acutally able to cut back on my benzos by half within the first 2 weeks of starting this drug. The only thing is the first month or so you might nod off a bit, it's very sedating. More than trazodone I think. If you give me some info on meds you have taken or meds you are thinking about taking I could try to help you out a bit to control the anxiety.

I use both subutex and xanax with no problem. 12mg/day sub - 1mg/day xanax.
