I have continuing problems with high blood pressure and blood sugar. I've had many, many test and diabtes has been ruled out. Sometimes my fasting blood sugar will jump to 170 and BP will be 170/100. I am currently on 200 mg. of Toprol XL, 120 mg. verapamil. I will experience a tight throbbing pain in my upper right abdomen area which causes severe headaches, dizzy, lightheaded feelings along with the BP and Blood Sugar problems. I've also had all the Gal Bladder test, all negative. My Dr. thinks it's stress and puts me on 1 mg. xanex xr, which does absolutely nothing. I also get these stong feelings of not being able to relax or rest, with bad leg pain at night.
My question is what could cause blod pressure and blood sugar to be out of norm and yet my Doctors don't seem to worry much about it?
