Hi I am a 38 year old woman who had all the heart workups stress test monitor etc. found I have a very very very mild MR. The cardiologist told me millions of people have this and my symptoms are not heart related thank goodness. Anyway saw a gastro had the barium tests xrays done endoscopy each showed nothing wrong. The xrays with the chalky drink just showed slower stomach dumping. I really had none of these gerd symptoms until after my endscopy which my Dr tells me that that is not the reason I have the symptoms now YEAH RIGHT! Anyway I am asthmatic also which doesnt help with the Gerd my PCP told me.

My question is that the other night for dinner my husband made chicken Parm and the next morning woke up with pressure on my chest. Throat felt like something was stuck in it since. Popped about 10 tums yesterday only helped a little. The gastro Doc gave me prevacid but it interefered with my theophylline for my asthma ( huge heart palps and racing) stopped that and have been living on tums once in a while.

About a year ago I could eat anything had no symptoms of GERD. I swear after the endoscopy thats when I started with all these symptoms?!! Has anybody had problems after and endscopy? Anyway thae gastro doctor dismissed me. I also have IBS which is being treated for 10 years with Prevalite a cholesterol medicine which helps IBS. I couldnt eat anything without be in the bathroom 10 minutes later.

Any help please help!!
