i was treated for 8 weeks with high dose tetracycline. I dont believe I was ever tested for co-infections.

i think I had just gotten the lyme disease because I had bites and they turned into big red round spots. but it was about a year later I started getting joint pain.

I did have one of those tests where you take tetracycline for 5 days to induce herxing and then they test you. that came back negative too.
