I did a quick search and found an e-medicine article that said that some of the side effects of taking the medicine for Graves disease can cause an itchy rash. The meds they listed are: PTU and methimazole (Tapazole). If you are on these meds, you may want to do a search for the adverse effects of them and compare your current symptoms.
