I have the same problem too. I am taking Necon 1/35 right now since Sunday 4/4, and I have been bleeding and spotting for five weeks  In fact I think I had my period already. I have been on it for 6 weeks (I skipped sugar pills so I can miss my periods for my summer vacation at the Outer Banks and Jamaica). I was told that the dosage is too low, and I need to have the dosage increased. I was suggested to try Necon 1/50. I emailed my doctor today asking if I can try that. He was against increasing the dosage, but hey, I have been spotting and bleeding for 6 weeks!
A few years ago I was on the same birth control pill you are currently on, and less than a year before I quit, I started to spot too. Last summer we went to Cancun, and my period was due that week. My doctor prescribed me Sprintec, and I spotted again. Luckily it stopped just before we went.
It is possible that your dosage is low, and the doctor needs to double it. Or the brand is not good for you. Maybe another brand may work better for you. Please discuss this with your ob/gyn.
