To have normal BMs a person needs 25 to 35 gms of fiber daily. Along with 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. The fiber needs to be a combination of insoluble and soluble fiber.

Insoluble fiber is the fiber that causes your intestinal muscles to contract thus moving digested food through your intestines. Soluble fiber absorbs fluids and bulks up your stool.

There is NO fibre in all meats, seafoods and all dairy products.

All fruits, veggies including greens, nuts, seeds and bran --the outer part of all grains and the out part of peas and beans are insoluble.

Soluble fiber is the inner parts of the grains, beans & peas except green beans which is insoluble. The root veggies like potatos, carrots, beets, turnips and chicory root called Inulin are all soluble. Inulin is added to alot of processed foods.
Psyllium husk in Metamucil and others, Citrucel, Benefiber, Fiber Choice are all soluble fibers. FiberCon is an insoluble fiber.

This is not a complete list of foods but a good start.

To get rid of fungal/ yeast/ candida infections -- there are a number of anti fungul drugs on the market -- like Diflucan. Sporanox, Nystatin, etc.
The yeast/candida that is normally in your system thrive on sugary foods. It's only when they get out of balance that they causes problems. So limiting your sugar intake is essential to control them-- that include simple carbs.
There are over 400 strains of bacteria in your GI tract--- that are in constant warfear!!

Probiotic supplements may help-- like Primal Defense, Culturelle, PB-8 --L Sprorgenes( ThreeLac) and many others
Yogurt and Kefir also contain lots of friendly bacteria -- if you read the labels and get a good brand of Yogurt-- I like and use Stonyfield Farms -- it contains 6 friendly bacteria-- Sorry but it's not sold in Canada but I am sure you can find good brands in all counties at health food stores.
