Hi Charlatan--Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. No the surgery didn't do a thing except make matters worse. I just had a second CT scan and will be seeing the ENT today. Seems the surgery center or the Doc did not send a culture off after sinus surgery to see if I had a fungal infection which is very different and very hard to treat. I think my palate will always be lopsided, but right now that's the least of my concerns. I just want this to end.

I am most certain you are doing well. Am I right? Hey, how that sweet BF of yours?

Hello chook. I'm so sorry your sinus surgery didn't work. Must have been a huge disappointment for you. We could start our own lopsided palate club. You speak as though you're still sick, though? If you haven't had anti-fungal treatment as of yet, I guess it's worth a try. When I was constantly sick with my tonsils and no antibiotic would work, my Dr tried me on Sporanox capsules, in case it was all due to a fungal infection, but it obviously wasn't, for it didn't work. I didn't know fungal infections were hard to treat. Well, I hope you get some help from the ENT today. Good luck! Take care and keep us posted.

Ohhh... the bf.. lol. I still haven't gone over to Calif to see him! Haha! Lack of funds and everything. Then I was going to go over there for 3 months this Oct, but I can't afford to now, so I'm planning to save some more pennies and go over for December and New Year. He's coming here for a week, early Sept anyway, so I'll see him soon. And this time, I will be well and healthy! Yay!! :D
