I have been reading the posts about Spiro because im really intereasted in useing it. I did some research online about the drug and a few places mentioned it can cause tumors. Im a person that worries AlOT...I really want to take this med but concered about the side effects myself. Im super oily and think this may help my acne. I have always thought if I could just get rid of this darn oil my acne would clear up. I have never heard of it till I looked on this board. Do you think the benifts are woth the dry mouth and thirst. Many people have posted about how bad it dries u out. Could this cause health problems down the road? What do u think about the tumor thing? That scares the heck out of me. The site I looked it up on had it up on the top of the page in a big red box it said...Spironolactone has caused tumors in laboratory animals. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of using this medication for your condition
I realize we are not lab animales but its still something I think about.
