How do I make the dr do something now! (Asthma board)

5th December 2005
I am taking my 4 year old to her allergist on Tuesday. Her current controller medicines are not working. Her dr has mentioned that he thinks she is having sinus infections, or reflux. I have expressed how I want to find out what is triggering it. He did skin tests. They came back negative for anything. How do I get him to do the sinus x-rays or whatever need to be done, and quit having a wait and see approach? I went through this for 3 years with her ped, and then switched to this specialist in October. He put her on Singulair. Q-var, and Nasonex, and she is still having flare-ups like she did before starting these meds. If they arent helping I dont want her taking them. How do I talk to them and get them to listen? They act like- oh well I see this all day long. I know something is not right with my child, and I cant help her and that is frustrating to no end.Anybody have any advice?

Thanks
