Hi I am new to the board but I too am afraid of medications. I hate to say it but who wouldn't. Look at how many people die each year due to adverse reactions. Sorry! But that's how I feel. I never thought twice about it until I developed a chronic migraine and really started having panic attacks with horrible anxiety. I had to try different meds to try to control the headaches and I started reading about side effects. I remember one night I began a new med at the time called serzone. My heart started racing and I ended up in the emergency room scared to death. That was 5 years ago and to this day I am still scared of meds. My family thinks I'm crazy but I can't help it.
