I dont know if this will help you or not, but I was taken off Serzone, not by my choice, and I miss all the help this medicine gave me. I was on it for 10 years. Now taking Zoloft. I would go back on the Serzone, but cannot afford it. I wish you luck. I've had severe Anxiety with depression for 13 years. I wish I could find that middle ground. I too take Xanax, but it just isnt enough to help with all the racing thoughts and Anxiety, stomach problems, etc, etc. Again, I wish you the best of luck !

Is the Zoloft providing any results? Are there bad initial side effects? if so, for how long do you have to fight them... My doc says Serzone generic is still available and I just wonder if my insurance can cover it...

Yes the Zoloft seems to be helping. I'm one of the blessed , no stomach problems, just some bowel problems, but not bad at all. The Anxiety is letting up, and I've only been on it for less than a week. I know this is uncommon. But everyone is different. I have been through the ringer this lasr year. I hope I've helped you, any more questions ...just ask. The only thing I experienced with the withdraws of Serzone was "Brain Shivers". Not fun. Just a side effets from withdraw. Good luck !!!
