Thanks everyone who responded!! I am on SUBUTEX, been on if off and on (between relapses, unfortunately) and three weeks ago decided, enough is enough, no more of this DEVIL DRUG! (hYDROS, I mean).
I started my taper at 2mgs and am now down to a bit less than .5. I do feel very slight withdrawals in the evening and a.m. before taking it. I think Sub. is a life saver, because it really gives you time to think rationally about what I was doing. I spent over $1,000 on line for these things, what a waste!!
I do have some Ultrams, but I will use these very very cautiously. I do have Seroquel from a Psychiatrist and it really helps you sleep. I also have a long history of clinical depression GODDESS, as you said you have. So, I am, also on Effexor XR. My Psych. also thinks I am possibly ADD so he gave me Adderal, this however does not help at all with withdrawals as someone thought they might. I went five days with no sub. when I first was given the ADDERAL and I thought that It was the drug that was making me feel so lousy. Then I took a 5mg. Sub. and felt fine. So that is when I reallized I needed to taper way, way down, before stopping.
