how long is it supposed to take prednisone to work?
My asthma has been getting bad for the last couple of days and the doctor put me on 40mg/day of prednisone 2 days ago (I have one more day left), in addition to my advair 250 that i've taken 2 times twice a day, every day for 3 months... I'm also taking serevent and ventolin to keep being able to breathe.
the only thing is that my lungs have just been getting worse. they're just filling up with mucous and stuff, and my cough is getting progressively worse. Should I contact a doctor, or should I wait and see what happens? Also I have a reallly weird pain in the back of my chest every time i breathe in. It kinda feels like it's my lung...
Okay, this is a few hours later and the pain is getting a lot worse. It's every time I breathe in...
