Both my daughters ages 7 & 9 have both had UTI's. They always put my girls on Septra. It works wonderful for them. Also my 7 year old just had the VCUG test & ultrasound last month. It was not as scary as I thought it was but very helpful for the doc. Try the drug Septra.
