25th August 2007
well, i will have to say that yesterday was not a very comfortable day, but i blame it on my lack of not drinking.
by the end of the evening i was wondering what i had did differently, and thats the only thing that i could think of(at that point i only had 2 cans of soda all day) so i drank a gallon of tea(well almost) before iwent to bed last night, and i slept through the night.
i ran out of the roxicet pain medication and she called me in hydocodone so i started on that today, i'm not sure if it's going to be as strong as the1st.
my thoart is sore today, tight feeling, but i'm sure that a sign that it's healing.
my stomach has been upset all day, but i think it's due to all the medication so far the worst part is the liquid medication, i can't stand it.
i wish you luck, and at this point all i can say is be sure to drink, drink non stop..................that really seems to help
and keep on top of the pain medication don't skip---set your alarm clock to get up at night
so far i have not had any problem sleeping..........
i also found that if you eat about 1/2 after you take the pain medication you can swallow some what normally, so take advanage of that time frame.
tomorrow will be day 6 after surgery(i had surgery on monday)
hopefully i'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel
