I would demand for the liquid form of pain meds. I took Roxicet (liquid Percocet which is Oxycodone and Tylenol) and Lortab Elixir or the generic Hydrocone APAP. Liquids are much easier to swallow and absorb much more quickly in the bloodstream to speed the relief.

I only took the Roxicet for a couple of days to get to sleep. The Lortab Elixir was not as strong but was effective when I went back to work.
