Is there any way to find out what brand a pharmacy uses (Pain Management board)

26th February 2007
Every pharmacy I've been to prescribes a different generic version of percocet 5/325 (325 mg. acetaminophen and 5 mg. oxycodone). CVS dispenses a version made by Cypress Pharmaceuticals (i.e., with "512" stamped on the pill). Target dispenses Roxicet, Rite Aid and Giant Pharmacy dispense other brands. My question is: How can I find a list of all the companies that make this drug, and what is the BEST version, i.e., the one with the fewest side effects? I've been searching the internet to no avail. I remember liking Rite Aid's version best. Is there any way to find out what brand a pharmacy uses before getting the prescription filled? Please Help!
